Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para mejorar la recepción de una señal óptica entrante, dentro de un espectro de frecuencia óptica, creando una dispersión estimulada en una fibra óptica entre la señal óptica entrante y un haz de control espectralmente estrecho teniendo la dispersión una curva de ganancia característica que define una amplificación de potencia, como una función de la diferencia de frecuencia óptica entre la señal entrante y el haz de control, y utiizando el haz de control como un medio para amplificar una porción seleccionada del espectro de la frecuencia óptica.
