Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un procedimiento para producir óxido de cobre (I) mediante la acción de una solución acuosa de un ácido mineral y de un gas que contiene oxígeno sobre metal de cobre de terrón, pequeño con agitación continua, caracterizado en que se mantiene una temperatura de 10 a 40 grados C, de preferencia de 15 a 350 grados C, para efectuar la formación de óxido de cobre amarillo (I) particulado. (Cu2O).
