Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento para el tratamiento de pieles destinadas a cuero, que comprende el tratamiento de piel macerada con cal y eventualmente con disulfuro sódico, desencalado de la piel mediante tratamiento en un baño acuoso bajo agitación y adición de una substancia solubilizante de la cal, adobo, picklaje y curtido, caracterizado por utilizar como agente solubilizante una mezcla gaseosa con dióxido de carbono disuelto en el baño acuoso de tratamiento hasta que el pH del baño se reduzca a un valor predeterminado en un intervalo apropiado para el adobo, actuando el dióxido de carbono de sustancia solubilizante.
