Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición electrodepositables catiónica acuosa la cual contiene una resina formadora de película cargada positivamente y la cual contiene un material el cual tiene metilol o grupos de metilol substituídos y es preparada de un material reactivo al formaldehido y de formaldehido; dicho material contiene formaldehido libre y/o siendo capaz de generar formaldehido libre el cual baja el pH de la composición catiónica, dicha composición además contiene un barredor de formaldehido estando presente en una cantidad suficiente para estabilizar el pH de la composición de manera que cuando la composición se calienta a 60 grados C por 16 horas, en cambio en el pH será menor de 0.3 pH unidades.
