Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a procedimiento de preparación industrial de amino-ácidos por hidrólisis de proteínas en un medio de ácido sulfúrico, caracterizado porque consiste en cargar previamente en una cuba una solución de ácido sulfúrico de concentración por lo menos igual a 12N, en calentar la solución a una temperatura de por lo menos 100 grados C, en añadir simultáneamente las proteínas y una cantidad complementaria de ácido sulfúrico correspondiente a la necesaria para la neutralización de las funciones aminas de los aminoácidos provinientes de la hidrólisis de las proteínas, en proseguir la reacción de hidrólisis manteniendo la concentración en ácido sulfúrico al menos en 12N y la temperatura en al menos 100 grados C, en detener la hidrólisis por adición de agua para disminuir la temperatura y reducir la concentración de ácido sulfúrico a un valor a lo sumo igual a 6N y en eliminar el exceso de ácido sulfúrico.
