Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a aparato para mejorar la capacidad de transporte de un contenedor intermodal para permitir el almacenamiento de carga a varias alturas y ángulos, dicho recipiente teniendo un piso, lados, por lo menos un extremo abierto, y ejes longitudinal, transversal y vertical, dicho aparato estando caracterizado porque comprende: una pluralidad de rieles longitudinalmente orientados, montables en pares dentro de un contenedor por arriba del piso del contenedor, dichos rieles estando verticalmente separados entre sí y siendo generalmente paralelos entre sí, los rieles estando generalmente a ángulos rectos con respecto a un extremo abierto de un contenedor que va a mejorarse, dichos rieles teniendo extremos y por lo menos uno de dichos extremos estando abierto adyacente al extremo abierto de un contenedor que va a mejorarse; y una pluralidad de plataformas de estiba para carga, las cuales son independientes una de otra y se acoplan con los rieles a varias alturas y ángulos, cada plataforma de estiba teniendo medios de pata, dichos medios de pata siendo complementarios a los rieles y siendo capaces de insertarse desde el exterior de un contenedor sobre los extremos abiertos de dichos rieles y trasladarse a lo largo de dichos rieles, los medios de patas siendo articulables, permitiendo que las plataformas de estiba acoplen con los rieles a varias alturas y ángulos con respecto a los rieles, permitiendo que la carga que puede ligarse a dichas plataformas de estiba sea levantada a una altura deseada e inclinada a un ángulo deseado y transladada a una posición deseada para mejorar la capacidad de carga de un contenedor.
