Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a método para preparar una composición estabilizada de un tiocarbonato, en particular una solución acuosa estabilizada de un tiocarbonato seleccionado entre tri- y tetratiocarbonatos de amonio, de metales alcalinos y de metales alcalinotérreos y combinaciones de los mismos, caracterizado porque comprende proporcionar, en dicha solución, una base soluble en agua y/o un sulfuro soluble en dicha solución y que tiene la fórmula MnSx en donde M se elige entre amonio, metales alcalinos y metales alcalinotérreos, x es al menos 1, n es 2 cuando M es amonio o un metal acalino y n es 1 cuando M es un metal alcalinotérreo.
