Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para fumigar productos agrícolas en medios de transporte o almacenamiento para controlar plagas con ayuda de fosfuro de hidrógeno el cual es a continuación fijado y/o descompuesto hasta un grado sustancial, comprendiendo dicho método las etapas de: introducir de manera conocida per se una composición fumigante liberadora de fosfuro de hidrógeno en los productos almacenados en los medios de almacenamiento convencionales; cubrir los productos almacenados con una hoja o lámina o película flexible para aislarlos del espacio de almacenamiento circundante; y fijar por adsorción, adsorción física o química y/o descomposición por medios físicos o mecánicos el fosfuro de hidrógeno emitido del espacio que contiene gas por arriba y entre los productos almacenados durante o después de la fumigación.
