Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a mejoras en proceso para eliminar las impurezas del 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroetano (R-134a) que contenga alrededor de 50 a 10 000 ppm por peso de 2-cloro-1,1,-difluroetileno (R-1122), caracterizadas porque comprende pasar el 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroetano sobre una zeolita que tenga un tamaño promedio de poros entre 3.8 y 4.8 angstrom a una temperatura de -10 grados C a 100 grados C y a una presión de 100 a 860 kPa y recuperar el 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroetano que contenga menos de 10 ppm por peso de 2-cloro-1-1-difluoroetileno.
