Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un compresor sin aceite del tipo que incluye un cilindro que tiene un eje, un pistón fijado rígidamente en una biela y colocado para reciprocar en el cilindro, un sello fijado en el pistón para formar un sello deslizante con el cilindro, un cigüeñal que tiene un eje y una excéntrica que gira alrededor del eje del cigüeñal cuando el cigüeñal se hace girar, la biela tiene un extremo separado del pistón fijado a la excéntrica para movimiento rotatorio con la excéntrica cuando se hace girar el cigüeñal, el pistón se hace reciprocar en el cilindro en carreras de admisión y compresión alternativas cuando el extremo de la biela se hace girar mediante la excéntrica, y en donde el pistón oscila a través de un primer ángulo máximo con relación al eje del cilindro durante la carrera de admisión, y a través de un segundo ángulo máximo con relación al eje del cilindro durante la carrera de compresión a medida que se hace reciprocar el pistón, la mejora consiste de descentrar el cilindro con relación al cigüeñal para desplazar el eje del cilindro desde el eje del cigüeñal, en una dirección que reduce el segundo ángulo máximo durante la carrera de compresión para reducir el desgaste del sello del pistón.
