Abstract

Instrument za samostalno uzimanje uzoraka ćelija iz telesnih šupljina, na prijmer uzoraka ćelija iz grlića materice. Optimalan pristup grliću materice se postiže činjenicom da instrument sadrži krutu plastičnu cijev koja je zaobljena sa prednje strane. Kao posljedica toga, tokom uvođenja instrumenta u telesnu šupljine od strane korisnika, instument se može precizno postaviti u grlić materice. Dalje, instument je čvrsto obuhvaćen tkivom vagine tako da je moguće sprečiti isticanje tečnosti za ispiranje čime se postiže da se uzimanje uzorka izvede pomoću relativno male količine tečnosti za ispiranje uz dobijanje kvalitetnog uzorka sa visokom koncentracijom ćelija iz tkiva grlića materice. Na ovaj način je moguće pristupiti mjestu uzimanja uzorka na jednostavan i precizan način bez oštećenja tkiva. Kao posledica toga što cev instrumenta istovremeno predstavlja i cilindar sa klipom, moguće je, najpre izvršiti ispiranje željenog mesta rastvorom upotrebom sklopa cilindra i klipa a zatim i uzimanje uzorka povlačenjem klipa unazad.
