Abstract

The invention relates to the field of information technologies and can be used for manufacturing an identification tag by electrochemical machining of current-conducting objects.The installation for applying an individual image on a current-conducting object comprises a vacuum chamber (6), in the lower part of which is placed the working part, made of metal foil (7) with an annular cooling tube (9). In the upper part of the chamber (6) is installed a system of tapered electrodes (10), connected to a high-voltage source (11). Under the vacuum chamber (6) are placed a capacity with electrolyte for positioning therein of a current-conducting object, a displacement device (14) and a random number generator (13). The working part (7) and the current-conducting object are connected to a low-voltage source (8).The process for manufacturing an identification tag on a current-conducting object comprises application on the object of an identification tag, consisting of an identification number, an information coordinate grid and an individual image, obtained electrochemically using the above installation, wherein the vacuum chamber is mounted fixedly. The object is displaced randomly in a two-coordinate plane.
