Abstract

The invention relates to the field of information technology and is intended for identification of material resources, in particular for producing an identification tag on a metal carrier.The method for producing an identification tag on a metal carrier consists in that electric discharges are performed between a high-voltage electrode and a carrier, made of a glass substrate and a metal mesh, fixed to the substrate with a dielectric film. The high-voltage electrode moves longitudinally and transversally according to the law of random numbers. After that is selected an area with the most informative image obtained as a result of an electric discharge, on which are applied a digital code and an information grid.
