Abstract

The invention relates to agriculture, namely to a process for presowing treatment of onion seeds.The process, according to the invention, includes soaking of onion seeds for 15 minutes in a 0.01% aqueous solution of 5,4'-dimethylkaempferol 3-O-&bgr;-D-(6´´-α´-L´-rhamnopyranosyl)-glucopiranoside, obtained from Linaria vulgaris Mill. plants by extraction with ethanol and butanol and chromatographic separation.
