Abstract

Invenţia se referă la biochimie, şi anume la un procedeu de evaluare a toxicităţii nanoparticulelor oxizilor de metale cu utilizarea levurilor.Procedeul, conform invenţiei, prevede inocularea levurii Rhodotorula gracilisCNMN-Y-30pe un mediu nutritiv, adăugarea nanoparticulelor oxizilor de metale în concentraţii cuprinse între 0,5…15,0 mg/L, cultivarea submersă în decurs de 72 ore, separarea biomasei, determinarea în biomasă a activităţii catalazei şi a conţinutului de β-caroten, totodată nivelul de toxicitate al nanoparticulelor oxizilor de metale se stabileşte reieşind din concentraţiile care provoacă diminuarea activităţii catalazei sau a conţinutului de β-caroten cu 50%.
