Abstract

The invention refers to a new coordinative compound from the class of salicylideneaminoalcoholates of transition metals and to a process for the use thereof as compound increasing the content of phycobiliproteins to Spirulina platensis cyanobacterium.It is claimed a coordinative compound, hydrate-2-{[2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-ethylimino]-methyl}-benzene-1,4-dihydroxy- (2-)copper of the formula:A process for the cultivation of cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis is also claimed including cultivation on a nutrient medium containing, g/L: NaNO3 - 2.5; NaHCO3 - 16.8; NaCl - 1.0; K2SO4 - 1.0; K2HPO4 - 0.20; MgSO4·7H2O - 0.20; CaCl2·6H2O - 0.04; H3BO3 - 0.00286; MnCl2·4H2O - 0.00181; ZnSO4·7H2O - 0.00022; CuSO4·5H2O - 0.00008; MoO3 - 0.000015; 1 ml of 0.09 M FeHEDTA solution and distilled water up to 1L, at a pH 9.5…10.0, at a temperature of 30…32°C, the illumination of 2000…3000 lx in the first 2 days and of 3000…4000 lx in the following days of cultivation, at the same time on the 2-nd day of cultivation it is added the hydrate of 2-{[2-(2-hydroxyethylamino)-ethylimino]-methyl}-benzene-1,4-dihydroxy-(2-)copper, in the concentration of 0.002…0.004 g/L.
