Abstract

The invention refers to phycobiotechnology, in particular to a process for the cultivation of cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis with an increased content of phycobiliproteins that can be used in the pharmaceutical industry and medicine.The process for the cultivation of cyanobacterium Spirulina platensis includes cultivation on a nutrient medium, containing, g/L: NaHCO3 - 16.8; K2HPO4·3H2O - 1.0; NaNO3 - 2.5; NaCl - 1.0; K2SO4 - 1.0; K2SO4 - 1.0; CaCl2·6H2O - 0.04; MgSO4·7H2O - 0.20; H3BO3 - 0.00286; MnCl2·4H2O - 0.00181; ZnSO4·7H2O - 0.00022; CuSO4·5H2O - 0.00008; MoO3 - 0.000015; 1 mL of 0.09 M FeHEDTA solution and distilled water up to 1 L. On the second day of cultivation in the said medium is added 3…4 mg/L of nitrate hydrate of 5-nitrosalicylidenethiosemicarbazido(1-)aquacopper(II). The cultivation is carried out during 6 days, at a temperature of 30…35°C, at the illumination of 2000…3000 lx in the first two days and of 3000…4000 lx in the following days.
