Abstract

Inventia se refera la chimie, si anume la compusii organici din clasa tiosemicarbazonelor, care pot fi utilizati pentru tratamentul cancerului prostatei. Esenta inventiei consta in utilizarea 4-feniltiosemicarbazonelor aldehidelor salicilice si 2-hidroxi-1-naftoice in calitate de inhibitori ai enzimei 17b-HSD (hidroxisteroid dehidrogenaza), stimulatoare a multiplicarii celulelor cancerului prostatei.The invention relates to chemistry, namely to the organic compounds of the thiosemicarbazone class, which can be used for the treatment of prostate cancer. The essence of the invention consists in the use of 4-phenylthiosemicarbazones of salicylic and 2-hydroxy-1-naphthoic aldehydes as inhibitors of the enzyme 17b-HSD (hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase), which stimulates the proliferation of prostate cancer cells.
