Abstract

The invention refers to the mechanical engineering, namely to mixers which may be used for foam concrete preparation.The mixer contains a cylindrical body, in the cavity of which there are placed a shaft and mixing members, containing bars radially fixed onto the shaft in staggered order. The mixing members additionally contain platelet paddles, fixed to the free ends of the bars, placed in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the shaft perpendicular to its cross-section. Between the external margin of the paddle and the inner surface of the body cavity there is formed a clearance of 0,5…1 mm. The length of each paddle constitutes 60…100% of the longitudinal pitch value in the adjacent rows of the bars, and the width of each paddle constitutes 10…40% of the body cavity radius value.
