Abstract
Description
The invention relates to agriculture, in particular to fruit growing, namely to a method of cultivating plum trees. The invention can be used to increase the volume of fruit, quality, storage capacity and reduce the dehydration process of fruits of late plum varieties during the storage period.
A process for protecting apple fruits against penicillosis is known, which includes treating apple fruits at the end of the storage period with an aqueous solution of 0.5% vol. of emulsion, which contains, in g/l: ethyl esters of fatty acids from rapeseed oil 600, ethanol 150, glycerol 100, medicinal paraffin oil 100, sodium bicarbonate 2, distilled water, the rest, with a total consumption of 15…20 L/t. The emulsion forms a uniform film on the surface of the fruits, which ensures reduced water loss and increased resistance to pathogens that cause fungal diseases.
However, the process also has some disadvantages: it is expensive and requires efficient ventilation to dry the film formed on the fruit.
The problem solved by the proposed invention consists in increasing the standard fruit quota of late plum varieties during the storage period, due to resistance to damage by pathogens that cause fungal diseases and reducing the intensity of the dehydration process of the fruit tissue.
The invention solves the problem by proposing a process for cultivating plum trees, which includes their extra-radicular treatment during the vegetation period, after the juvenile fruits have fallen, with an aqueous solution containing 0.05% extract of biologically active substances, obtained from the powdered biomass of the green filamentous algae Spirogyra sp. by extraction with ethyl alcohol (Regalg preparation), as well as 0.05% microelements B, Zn, Mn, Mo, taken in a ratio of 1:1:1:1, and in the pre-harvest period (August) - with an aqueous solution of 0.1% CaCl2, with a consumption of 800-1000 L/ha.
The advantages of the proposed process over those of the known process (the closest solution) are the following: it is harmless to human health, having a much lower cost of ingredients.
The technical result of the invention consists in increasing the productivity of late plum tree varieties and the quality of the fruit, as well as the storage capacity and resistance of the fruit to fungal diseases and tissue dehydration.
The Regalg preparation (Authorization of the State Center for Product Certification, AA no. 0448, from 2003) presents a complex of biologically active substances, obtained from the biomass of the green filamentous algae Spirogyra sp., grown in organic medium for 10…12 days, dried to a humidity of 5…7% and crushed to a state of dust, at the same time before extraction the biomass is treated with chloroform, then with water, and the final extraction is carried out for 72 hours with ethyl alcohol in a ratio of 1: (4…6) (1000…1500 ml of ethyl alcohol is added to 250 g) with subsequent dilution with water. The final solution contains 5% of dry matter.
The Reglag preparation has properties of a biologically active substance with functions of stimulating plant growth and increasing disease resistance.
Exemplu de realizare a invenţiei. Example of embodiment of the invention.
Before applying treatments to plum trees, depending on their specific vegetation phase, treatment solutions are prepared by diluting the respective substances in water.
In the orchard, plum trees of the Stanley variety were treated two weeks after flowering with an aqueous solution containing the preparation Reglagl in a concentration of 0.05% and the microelements (m. e.) B, Zn, Mn, Mo, taken in a ratio of 1:1:1:1, in a concentration of 0.05%, and during the pre-harvest period (10 days until harvest) the trees were treated with an aqueous solution of CaCI2 of 0.1%, with a consumption of 800-1000 L/ha.
Pomii martor au fost trataţi cu apă. Control trees were treated with water.
At the end of the growing season, the fruits were harvested and stored for a long period of time (100 days). The fruits of both batches (treated/untreated), at the beginning of storage, were subjected to the action of the Fitomag ethylene synthesis inhibitor vapors and stored in the cold room, applying the usual atmosphere (AO: T=1°C, URA=85-90%).
The fruits of the untreated batch that were stored in the usual atmosphere were used as a standard.
The results obtained show that treating plum trees according to the proposed procedure increases the share of standard fruits during the storage period, due to resistance to damage by pathogens (Botritys cinerea Pers.) that cause the fungal disease gray rot and reduces the intensity of the dehydration process of fruit tissue (see table).
