Изобретение относится к сельскому хозяйству, в частности к овощеводству, а именно к способу выращивания чеснока.Способ, согласно изобретению, включает замачивание зубчиков перед посадкой или опрыскивание растений чеснока во время вегетации 0,00001…0,000001%-ным водным раствором координационного соединения селена тетрафтороборат-[бис(диметилглиоксимато)-(селенокарбамид)1,4-(селен-селенокарбамид)0,45-(селен-селен)0,15кобальт (III)], при этом замачивание зубчиков осуществляется в течение 2-х часов, а опрыскивание растений - 3 раза с интервалом 2 недели и расходом 0,5 л/м2.
