Abstract

La présente invention concerne une combinaison de ß-itostérol, d'oligoproanthocyanidines et de curcumine, possédant une activité anti-inflammatoire et anti-proliférative, et destinée à une utilisation dans le traitement de troubles urologiques, ainsi que des formulations de cette dernière en combinaison avec des excipients et/ou diluants appropriés. Les formulations pour une utilisation par voie orale, associées à au moins un agent promoteur de l'absorption entérique sélectionné entre la bromélaïne, la l-arginine base, au moins un sucroester et des produits en cours de développement, en particulier sous la forme d'un supplément alimentaire ou d'un médicament, sont particulièrement efficaces du fait qu'ils exercent une activité anti-inflammatoire significative et diminuent le volume prostatique avec des quantités de principes actifs individuels beaucoup plus faibles que celles décrites dans la littérature. Cette efficacité est due à un mécanisme favorisant l'absorption entérique qui n'avait pas encore été décrit, original et non explicable comme étant la somme des actions des agents promoteurs individuels.
