Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement vidéo (100) pour le traitement vidéo 3d couplé à un dispositif d'affichage 3d (120). Le dispositif reçoit les données vidéo 3d en fonction d'un format 3d entrelacé haute résolution. Un processeur vidéo (106) génère un signal d'affichage 3d en fonction d'un format d'affichage. Des données de capacité d'affichage 3d indiquent au moins un format d'affichage 3d entrelacé accepté par le dispositif d'affichage 3d, le format d'affichage 3d entrelacé présentant une résolution inférieure à celle du format 3d entrelacé haute résolution. Le dispositif présente une unité de stockage (21, 31) conçue pour stocker les données de capacité d'affichage 3d et les données de capacité de conversion 3d. Les données de capacité de conversion 3d indiquent une capacité du dispositif de traitement vidéo pour la réduction de la résolution entrelacée afin de permettre à mécanisme de sélection de commander le traitement des informations vidéo 3d par sélection du format d'affichage 3d entrelacé et de la réduction de la résolution entrelacée. Avantageusement, la meilleure vision 3d possible est fournie à l'utilisateur.
