Abstract

L'invention porte sur un procédé et sur un appareil pour fabriquer une boîte (61) telle qu'une boîte de peinture, comprenant les étapes de : i. Préparation d'un corps cylindrique (2, 36, 51, 65); ii. Agencement de moyens formant piston (19, 24, 44, 74) dans une première ouverture (20, 60, 75) du corps cylindrique pour définir le diamètre de l'ouverture; iii. Roulage d'une extrémité libre (8, 66) de la première ouverture (20, 60, 75) radialement vers l'extérieur et axialement le long du corps cylindrique (2, 36, 51, 65), en formant ainsi un bord enroulé (47, 49, 57, 68, 70, 79) de telle sorte que le diamètre défini de la première ouverture (20, 60, 75) est sensiblement dimensionnellement stable dans la direction circonférentielle et elle porte aussi sur la boîte (61) et sur le corps de boîte (63) ainsi réalisés.
