Abstract

Cette invention consiste en un système permettant d'utiliser l'énergie calorifique d'origine solaire couplée à l'énergie électromagnétique, notamment des micro-ondes, et éventuellement les énergies produites durant la fermentation des produits organiques (biomasse, eaux usées) pour produire de l'eau douce à partir d'eaux salées, d'eaux usées, et de la vapeur d'eau contenue dans l'atmosphère. L'eau douce produite sera éventuellement rendue potable par ajout de sels minéraux à la concentration souhaitée provenant éventuellement de la cristallisation de sel lors de l'épuration. L'invention décrit un procédé et des réacteurs combinant des étapes de chauffage solaire et électromagnétique et éventuellement d'échanges thermiques avec un gaz chaud provenant d'une combustion, pour réaliser l'évaporation des gouttelettes d'un spray produit à partir d'eaux salées ou usées. La vapeur obtenue est séparée des particules de sels ou des impuretés agglomérées lors de l'évaporation par un système de cyclones. La vapeur pourra être éventuellement transportée sur une grande distance, avant d'être condensée par paliers, afin de séparer l'eau d'éventuels additif ou impuretés présents. Des additifs comme l'éthanol pourront être utilisés pour abaisser la pression de vapeur de l'eau liquide et faciliter le fractionnement en gouttelettes. Ces additifs seront recyclés durant des phases de condensation. Le procédé est complété dans le cas du traitement des eaux usées ou sales par des étapes de préfiltration, utilisant l'énergie de pression des gaz produits au cours d'étapes de fermentation. Les gaz produits lors de la fermentation sont brûlés dans des turbines ou des moteurs à combustion interne pour produire des gaz chauds qui seront utilisés pour l'évaporation des gouttelettes d'aérosols d'eau et pour produire une partie du courant nécessaire au fonctionnement du système. La condensation de la vapeur d'eau contenue dans les gaz de combustion complète la production d'eau liquide purifiée.
