BL-5396 1 A COPTIS CHINENSIS AND ATRACTLODIS RHIZOMA BASED LUs01408
[01] The present invention belongs to the technical field of pharmaceutics, and particularly relates to a Coptis Chinensis and Atractlodis Rhizoma based prescription for treating diabetes.
[02] The stagnation of turbid damp in meridians causes blood stasis, and turbid damp in blood stasis is regarded as be the initiating factor of the change of syndrome of diabetes. The main pathogeneses of diabetes include damage of the spleen and stomach, dysfunction of up-down transportation and transformation, loss of the rest as well as the damp-heat and stasis. The treatment is based on the spleen and stomach of the middle burner, and the legislation is to transport the spleen for clearing heat and eliminating turbid blood stasis.
[03] The present invention provides a method for treating type 2 diabetes by transporting the spleen to clear heat, eliminating gastrointestinal stasis, and removing blood stasis.
[04] Diabetes mellitus belongs to the category of Xiaoke (diabetes) in traditional Chinese medicine. The term of diabetes was first recorded in Nei Jing (The Internal Canon of Medicine), in which the Su Wen: Qi Bing Pian (Plain Questions-Articles of Odd Diseases) reads: “This person must have eaten a lot of sweets and fats, fats make people a feeling of hotness inside, sweets make people a sense of satiety, therefore their Qi overflows, which is developed into diabetes ” The key pathogenesis of diabetes is proposed: the internal heat, the abdominal distension, caused by eating the high-sugar foods and high-fat foods frequently, delays the development of evil in febrile disease, impedes the turbid dampness, blocks the rising of spleen yang, makes uneven distribution of fluid and qi, resulting in the occurrence of the disease. Subsequently, the Su Wen: Qi Bing Pian (Plain Questions-Articles of Odd Diseases) further proposed the treatment method of "treating the disease with fragrant thoroughwort and removing the stale qi, in which the “fragrant thoroughwort” refers to the fragrant thoroughwort and the “stale qi” refers to the long-term stagnation of qi without being digested. According to the records in the Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing (Sheng Nong's Herbal Classic), the “Fragrant thoroughwort: the taste is pungent and plain; is beneficial for the Shuidao Acupoint; and avoids the ill omen.” It is said that fragrant thoroughwort can be used to remove the stagnation that has not been transformed for a long period of time, 40 indicating that diabetes can be treated by regulating the spleen and stomach, and by using tradition Chinese medicine such as Herba Lycopi and Herba Eupatorii, so as to achieve the effects of removing dampness and activating the spleen, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, thereby making spleen and stomach in the middle burner will be healthy and vigorous, making the qi mechanism smooth, and further

[08] S2: adding water to 400 ml, boiling the mixture with strong fire, and then keeping the mixture boiling for 30 minutes with strong fire, until 150 ml of liquid remains, and pouring the remainder out.
[09] S3: adding water again to 400 ml, boiling the mixture with strong fire, and then keeping the mixture boiling for 30 minutes with strong fire, until 150 ml of liquid remains, and pouring the remainder out.
[10] S4: mixing two decoctions; pulverizing the Hirudo; mixing the decoction with Hirudo powder before taking.
[11] In the present invention, Coptis Chinensis can diffuse, open up the stagnation, its bitterness nature can dry the dampness, and it coldness nature can prevail heat; stir-fried Rhizoma Atractylodis is pungent and warm in nature, enables both ascending and descending the qi, returns to the spleen and stomach meridians, enlightens the damp-stagnancy of the Triple Burner, replenishes the spleen and upbear the clear, and regulates the middle burner and descends the turbid, which is the monarch drug that play a major role in the main disease or main symptom. Skunk Bugbane Rhizome is clear and flat, and is good at inducing nutrients with warming properties of the middle burner into the heart and lungs, announces the essence of water and grain in the Triple Burner, meridians, and limbs; stir-fried Fructus Aurantii Immaturus has a pungent fragrance, relieves the depression and removes the lump, promotes the flow of the phlegm and the blood stasis in the middle burner, and when the two are mixed, one ascends and one descends, so as to facilitate the transportation and transformation of middle burner. Ginger processed Ternate Pinellia, Tangerine Peel, Poria Cocos and 40 Rhizoma Alismatis promote diuresis, promoting circulation of qi to eliminate phlegm, removing dampness and relieving mass; if the turbid damp stagnates for a long time, the spleen may lose its control and blood stasis may be unfavorable, so stir-fried the Chinese Hawthorn Fruit and the Medicated Leaven are used in order to strengthen the spleen and stomach and promote blood circulation; Hirudo and Stiff Silkworm are salty
BL-5396 3 in taste, Stiff Silkworm reduces phlegm and eliminates stagnation, and Hirudo has a LU501408 great potential to integrate into the blood, so as to attack the long-term stagnation, and the above drugs are all ministerial drug. Dried ginger warms the spleen and prevents the bitterness and the coldness of the Coptis Chinensis, which is considered as an adjuvant drug; Fructus Ziziphi Jujubae invigorates the spleen and replenishes qi, and Liquorice Root tonifies and neutralizes the spleen, which all are envoy drugs. The overall prescription includes the methods of transporting the spleen, diverting stagnation, clearing away heat, ascending the function of the spleen, removing blood stasis, and treating symptoms and root causes, thereby activating the spleen, dispersing the turbid, and eliminating blood stasis, such that the Triple Burner and meridians are unobstructed, and the diabetes is healed naturally.
