Description

INTERSECTION TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM AND INTERSECTION HAVING THE CONTROL SYSTEM
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an intersection traffic control system and an intersection having the control system, and in particular, to an intersection traffic control system which can reduce traffic violations and traffic accidents. Description of Related Art In an existing intersection traffic control system, a traffic signal light device 1s installed by the side of the lane after an intersection, as shown in FIG. 1. On one hand, as traffic congestion becomes increasingly serious in the city, when there are a lot of vehicles waiting at the intersection, the vehicles behind are far away from the traffic signal light; therefore, the drivers cannot effectively judge the traffic situation at the intersection ahead and thus are likely to change lanes at will, resulting in more serious congestion at the intersection. On the other hand, with the increasing number of near-sighted drivers nowadays, they cannot see clearly the traffic signal light at the intersection ahead due to their limited vision, and may misjudge the traffic situation at the intersection ahead, easily making a traffic violation such as running a red light. In addition, during waiting at a red light at the intersection, in a case where a vehicle, such as a large truck or a bus, that blocks the line of sight is in front of a small car, the driver in the small car cannot see the traffic signal light ahead of the intersection, resulting in the inability to effectively and timely know the current traffic situation. At present, the traffic signal light is composed of a light holder and a light pole, where the light holder includes a plurality of light holder units arranged in parallel, and each light holder unit includes a lamp assembly 11 and a back casing assembly 12, as shown in FIGs. 5-1 to 5-3. The back casings in the back casing assemblies are aluminum die-castings having identical structures and sectional dimensions, and are mutually fixedly connected (that is, contacting lateral plates of every two adjacent back casings are fixedly connected via bolts). The assembly of the back casing assemblies is complicated and a manual hole-making process is requited200002 resulting in a poor waterproof effect. The structure after assembly is complex and has a heavy weight, resulting in high production and mounting costs.

The system includes two traffic signal light devices, where a first traffic signal light device is disposed by the side of a lane before an intersection and a second traffic signal light device is disposed by the side of a lane after the intersection. The first traffic signal light device includes a light pole and a light arm, and a traffic signal light is mounted on the light arm; and the second traffic signal light device also includes a light pole and a light arm, and a traffic signal light is mounted on the light arm. Technical Solution Further, the two traffic signal light devices are disposed by the side of a straight lane containing an intersection. Further, the traffic signal lights of the two traffic signal light devices are displayed synchronously. Further, when the lane containing the intersection is a two-way lane, separation zones are disposed in the middle of the two-way lane, and a third traffic signal light device and a fourth traffic signal light device are disposed near the intersection in their respective separation zones; the third traffic signal light device is disposed in the separation zone before the intersection and the fourth traffic signal light device is disposed in the separation zone after the intersection; the third and fourth traffic signal light devices each include a light pole and two light arms; the two light arms and the light pole are designed in a Y shape, and traffic signal lights are mounted on both the light arms. Further, a traffic signal light for instructing pedestrians to cross is mounted on the light poles of both the third and fourth traffic signal light devices. Further, a traffic signal light for instructing pedestrians to cross is mounted on the light poles of both the first and second traffic signal light devices.
Further, the traffic signal light includes lamp assemblies, shielding sheets, and a back casiip00002 assembly, where each shielding sheet is mounted on its corresponding lamp assembly and the lamp assemblies are fitted into the back casing assembly; the back casing assembly includes a casing and end caps respectively mounted on the two ends of the casing; the casing is integrally designed and has a trapezoid cross section, and a cavity is formed therein; and several round holes in which the lamp assemblies are placed are provided in the front end face of the casing.
Further, the back casing assembly further includes rubber gaskets which are respectively disposed in annular grooves in the end covers, and rainwater can be prevented from flowing into the casing by the design of the rubber gaskets.
Further, a reinforcing rib with screw holes is disposed inside the casing; and the end caps, the rubber gaskets, and the casing are fastened together by fitting screws into the reinforcing rib, greatly enhancing the structural stability.
Further, several regularly arranged grooves are provided in left and right lateral surfaces of the casing, so as to enhance the strength of the casing at the two sides and further beautify the whole appearance.
Further, several screw holes for fixing the lamp assemblies are made around each round hole on the front end face of the casing, and the corresponding lamp assembly is fixed in the round hole via screws and the screw holes, thus facilitating mounting and achieving a stable and reliable structure.
Further, an annular seal ring is disposed between each lamp assembly and the front end face of the casing, so as to prevent rainwater from entering the back casing assembly.
Further, in order that the back casing assembly and a mounting bracket are used in cooperation, an annular gear is disposed on the outer surface of each end cap and a central screw hole passing through the end cap is provided in the center of the annular gear.

Further, a traffic signal light for instructing pedestrians to cross is mounted on the light pole of the fifth traffic signal light device. LU500002 Further, the intersection includes a pedestrian island which is arranged with a Y-shaped sidewalk. Further, when the lane at the intersection is a two-way lane, separation zones are disposed in the middle of the two-way lane respectively, and a sidewalk is arranged in each of the separation zones. Advantageous Effect The present invention provides an intersection traffic control system and an intersection having the control system, and has the following advantages compared to the prior art: 1. When there are a lot of vehicles waiting at the intersection, drivers in the vehicles behind can see the traffic signal light before the intersection, thus effectively judging the traffic situation at the intersection ahead and avoiding serious congestion at the intersection ahead. 2. By the traffic signal control system and the intersection of the present invention, near-sighted drivers with limited vision can see the traffic signal light before the intersection to learn the traffic signal light at the intersection ahead, thus correctly judging the traffic situation at the intersection ahead and avoiding a traffic violation such as running a red light. 3. During waiting at a red light at the intersection, in a case where a vehicle, such as a large truck or a bus, that blocks the line of sight is in front of a small car, the driver in the small car can see the traffic signal light before the intersection by the traffic signal control system and the intersection of the present invention, thus effectively and timely knowing the traffic situation at the intersection ahead. 4. The traffic signal light of the present invention has a simple structure, light weight, and low cost. The casing is integrally designed and easily mounted, achieving a stable and reliable structure and good waterproof effect. Therefore, the production and mounting efficiency can be effectively improved and the cost can be saved.
