Abstract
광학적 판독장치에 스트립을 삽입함으로써, 액체 중의 애널라이트의 존재 또는 양을 측정하기 위해서 시험 스트립이 제공된다. 이 시험 스트립은 거기에 인접한 영역의 반사율과 대조되는 반사율을 갖는 배향 표시 구역을 구비하며, 그러한 배향 표시 구역은 그 시험 스트립이 장치에 대해 거꾸로 삽입되지 않았는지를 확인하기 위해서 사용된다.

Claims (16)
- 시험 스트립(test strip)을 광학적 판독 찾이(apparatus)에 삽입함으로서 액체 중의 애널라이트(analyte)의 존재 또는 양을 결정하기 위한 시험 스트립에 있어서, 상기 시험 스트립은 적용된 액체 중의 애널라이트의 양의 함수로서 반사량을 변화시키는, 반응 구역을 한정하는 스트립의 주요표면 상에 한 영역을 갖는, 거기에 적용된 액체를 갖기 위한 부분을 포함하고, 상기 시험 스트립은 스트립이 장치내에 삽입될 때 반응구역을 주도하도록 위치된 배향 표시구역을 한정하는 주요 주요표면 상의 한 영역을 더 포함하며, 상기 배양 표시구역은 그 구역에 인접한 주요표면의 영역에 비해서 대조되는 반사율을 가지며, 그에 의해서 상기 판독장치는, 스트립이 장치 내에 삽입될 때 주요표면의 반사율 값을 순차적으로 측정하기 위한 광학 수단과, 배양 표시구역의 존재를 검출하거나 그의 부재를 보고하기 위한 마이크로프로세스 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제1항에 있어서, 배향 표시 구역은 스트립이 상기 장치 내에 삽입될 때 인접 영역을 주도하도록 주요 표면 상에 위치된 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제2항에 있어서, 인접 영역의 반사율은 배향 표시 구역의 반사율의 적어도 1.5배인 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제3항에 있어서, 인접 영역의 반사율은 배향 표시 구역의 반사율의 적어도 2배인 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제2항에 있어서, 인접 영역의 반사율은 배향 표시 구역의 반사율의 적어도 0.67배 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제5항에 있어서, 인접 영역의 반사율은 배향 표시 구역의 반사율의 적어도 0.5배 이하인 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제1항에 있어서, 배향 표시 구역은 장치 내에 스트립이 존재하지 않을 때 반사된 빛의 0.9배 이하를 반사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제7항에 있어서, 배향 표시 구역은 장치 내에 스트립이 존재하지 않을 때 반사된 빛의 0.5배 이하를 반사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제1항에 있어서, 배향 표시 구역은 장치 내에 스트립이 존재하지 않을 때 반사된 빛의 1.1배를 반사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 제9항에 있어서, 배향 표시 구역은 장치 내에 스트립이 존재하지 않을 때 반사된 빛의 2배를 반사하는 것을 특징으로 하는 시험 스트립.
- 시험 스트립에 적용되고 상기 장치 내에 삽입된 액체 중의 애널라이트의 존재 또는 양을 측정하기 위한 장치에 있어서, 상기 시험 스트립은 스트립이 장치 내에 삽입될 때, 적용된 액체 중의 애널라이트의 양의 함수로서 반사율이 변화되는 반응구역을 한정하는 스트립의 주요표면 상의 한 영역을 갖고, 적용된 액체를 갖는 부분, 및 스트립이 장치내에 삽입될 때 반응 구역을 주도하도록 위치되고, 배향 표시구역에 인접한 주요표면의 영역에 비해서 대조되는 반사율을 갖는 배향 표시 구역을 포함하고, 상기 장치는 상기 스트립과 대향 단부를 수용하는 개방 단부를 갖는 세로로 연장되는 스트립 통로와; 상기 개방 단부 및 대향 단부와 상기 통로로부터 반사된 빛을 검출하기 위한 검광기 사이의 위치에 상기 통로로 빛을 향하도록 하는 광원을 포함하는 과악장치와; 검출된 반사광의 신호를 변환시키는 변환수단; 및 통로 중의 배향 표시 구역의 존재 또는 부재를 검출하기 위해 신호를 수신하기 위한 마이크로프로세스 수단을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 배향 표시 구역은 사이 인접 영역보다 낮은 반사율을 가지며, 상기 배향 표시 구역은 스트립이 통로 내에 삽입될 때 상기 인접영역을 주도하도록 위치되고, 마이크로프로세서는 배향 표시구역이 상기 통로위치 위를 통과할 때 반사율의 증가를 나타내는 신호에 의해서 배향 표시 구역의 통과를 검출하도록 프로그램된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 인접한 영역은 상기 배향 표시구역보다 낮은 반사율을 가지며, 상기 인접한 영역은 스트립이 통로에 삽입될 때 배향 표시구역을 주도하도록 위치되고, 마이크로프로세서는 배향 표시구역이 상기 위치를 들어갈 때 반사율의 증가를 지시하는 신호에 의해서 배향 표시구역의 존재를 검출하는 프로그램 되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 배향 표시 구역은 상기 인접 영역보다 높은 반사율을 가지며, 상기 배향 표시 구역은 스트립이 통로 내에 삽입될 때 상기 인접영역을 주도하도록 위치되고, 마이크로프로세서는 배향 표시구역이 상기 통로위치 위를 통과할때 반사율의 감소를 나타내는 신호에 의해서 배향 표시 구역의 통과를 검출하도록 프로그램된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 제11항에 있어서, 상기 배향 표시 구역은 상기 인접 영역보다 높은 반사율을 가지며, 상기 배향 표시구역은 스트립이 통로 내에 삽입될 때 상기 인접영역을 주도하도록 위치되고, 마이크로프로세서는 배향 표시구역이 상기 통로위치 위를 통과할 때 반사율의 감소를 나타내는 신호에 의해서 배향 표시 구역의 통과를 검출하도록 프로그램된 것을 특징으로 하는 장치.
- 시험 스트립에 적용되고 장치내에 삽입된 액체 중의 애널라이트의 존재 또는 양을 측정하기 위한 계(system)에서, 스트립이 상기 장치 내에 적당히 배향되었는지를 결정하는 방법에 있어서, 스트립이 장치 내에 삽입될 때, 적용된 액체 중의 애널라이트의 양의 함수로서 반사율이 변화되는 반응구역을 한정하는 스트립의 주요표면 상의 한 영역을 갖고, 적용된 액체를 갖는 부분, 및 스트립이 장치내에 삽입될 때 반응 구역을 주도하도록 위치되고, 배향 표시구역에 인접한 주요표면의 영역에 비해서 대조되는 반사율을 갖는 배향 표시 구역을 포함하는 스트립에 상기 장치를 삽입하는 단계와; 스트립이 고정될 때 통로에 고정된 위치에서 빛을 향하고 반사광을 검출함으로써 스트립의 주요표면의 반사율을 측정하는 단계; 및 스트립이 통로에 삽입될 때 상기 고정된 위치를 통과한 배향 지시구역의 통로에 상응하는 반사광의 존재 또는 부재를 검출하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
