Abstract

제거가능한 메모리 장치가 IC 메모리 패키지를 지니는 프린트 회로 기관(12)과 같은 기관, 제거가능한 메모리 장치를 호스트 시스템에 연결시키기 위한 성형된 플라스틱 코넥터 블록(24)을 포함하는 코넥터, 그리고 기판을 에워싸는 판금 커버(16)를 포함한다. 커버는 코넥터 블록(24)의 상측과 하측 바깥측 표면내에 형성된 다수의 상응하는 보유 슬롯(38)들로 수용된 다수의 정방향으로 돌출한 보유탭(66)들을 포함하는 대향하여 마주하고 있는 정방향 가장자리들을 갖는다. 커버와 코넥터 사이의 단단한 래치연결을 제공하기 위해 슬롯들과 탭들이 내측을 향하도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.

Claims (2)

  1. 대향하여 마주대하고 있는 상측과 하측의 평행한 커버 플레이트들을 포함하며, 패널 각각이 다수의 정방향 돌출 탭들을 포함하는 한 정방향 가장자리를 갖는 커버, 상기 커버내에 배치되며 전자회로 소자를 지니고 상기 전자 회로소자에 연결된 다수의 접촉부들을 갖는 한 정방향 가장자리를 포함하는 기판, 그리고 기판의 정방향 가장자리에 인접하여 배치되며 다수의 기판 접촉부들에 연결된 다수의 접촉 부재들을 가지며, 대향하여 마주대하고 있는 평행한 상측과 하측의 바깥측 표면들을 가지며, 바깥측 표면 각각은 다수의 슬롯들을 가지고 있고, 코넥터 상측 바깥측 표면내 각 슬롯은 상측 커버 패널의 정방향 가장자리를 따라 한 탭을 수용하며 그리고 코넥터 블록 하측 바깥측 표면내 각 슬롯은 하측 커버패널의 정방향 가장자리를 따라 한 탭을 수용하는 코넥터를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 컴퓨터와 같이 전자장치에 제거할 수 있도록 제거가능 장치의 코넥터용 래치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 제각기 코넥터의 상측 바깥측 표면 및 상측 커버패널 정방향 가장자리에 연관되는 슬롯과 탭, 그리고 제각기 코넥터의 하측 바깥측 표면 및 하측 커버 패널 정방향 가장자리에 연관되는 슬롯과 탭이 내측을 향하도록 방향이 정해져서 커버와 코넥터 사이의 단단한 래치된 연결을 제공함을 특징으로 하는 제거가능 장치의 코넥터용 래치
