Abstract

멀티트랙 기록 장치가 다수의 트랙에 n 정보 신호를 기록할 수 있음이 공재된다. 상기 정보 신호는 테이프 프레임에 기록되고, 상기 하나의 정보 신호가 각각 n번째 테이프 프레임에 기록된다. 나아가, 멀티플랙재생 장치가 상기 기록 장치에 의해 얻은 기록 캐리어로부터 정보 신호를 재생함을 공개한다.

Claims (14)

  1. 정보 신호를 수신하는 입력과, 상기 정보 신호에 채널 인코딩 단계를 실행하기 위한 채널 인코딩 수단과, 상기 채널 인코딩된 정보 신호를 기록하기 위한 기록 수단과, 기록된 정보의 트랙 프레임을 갖는 트랙과, 프레임간 갭에 의해 분할된 트랙의 일련의 트랙 프레임과, 실질상 동일 길이이고 정보 테이프 프레임을 형성하는 상기 다수의 트랙의 주변 트랙 프레임 및, 상기 다수의 트랙에서 실질상 동일 길이인 주변 프레임간 갭을 갖는, 종형 기록 캐리어 상에 위치한 다수의 종형 트랙에 적어도 제1 및 제2정보 신호를 기록하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치에 있어서, 상기 기록 장치는 상기 다수의 종형 트랙에서 일련의 n 테이프 프레임에 n채널 인코딩 정보 신호를 기록하기에 적합하고, 하나의 채널 인코딩 정보 신호에 속하는 정보는 각각 n번째 테이프 프레임에 기록되며, 여기서 n≥2인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 기록 캐리어의 A섹터에 위치한 다수의 종형 트랙에 적어도 상기 제1 및 제2정보 신호를 기록하고, 상기 기록 캐리어의 B섹터에 위치한 다수의 종형 트랙에 적어도 상기 제3 및 제4정보 신호를 기록하기 위해, B섹터의 트랙은 기록된 정보의 트랙 프레임을 갖고, 트랙의 일련의 트랙 프레임은 프레임간 갭으로 분할되며, 다수의 트랙에서 주변 트랙 프레임은 실질적으로 길이가 동일하며 정보의 테이프 프레임을 형성하고, 다수의 트랙에서 주변 프레임간 갭은 실질적으로 길이가 동일한 멀티트랙 기록 장치에 있어서 상기 기록 장치는 상기 B섹터의 다수의 상기 종형 트랙에서 일련의 m테이프 프레임에 m 정보 신호를 기록하기에 더욱 적합하고, 하나의 채널 인코딩 정보 신호에 속하는 정보가 각각 m번째 테이프 프렘임에 기록되고, 여기서 m≥2인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, n=m인 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기록 장치는 상기 A섹터 및 B섹터의 트랙에 n+m정보 신호를 기록하기에 적합하고, 상기 기록 캐리어의 트랜스포트 방향은 A섹터의 트랙의 정보 신호의 기록 및 B섹터의 트랙의 정도 신호 기록과 동리한 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  5. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 기록 장치는 상기 A섹터 및 B섹터의 테이프 프레임의 길이는 실질적으로 동일하고, A섹터의 테이프 프레임의 위치가 B섹터의 테이프 프레임의 위치와 동일하지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  6. 제5항에 있어서, 상기 A섹터의 테이프 프레임은 B섹터의 테이프 프레임에 비해 시럴적으로 절반의 길이만큼 이동하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  7. 제1항에 있어서, 에디트 모드에서, 상기 기록 장치는 각각의 n번째 테이프 프레임의 상기 기록 캐리어에 단지 하나의 정보 신호를 기록하는데 적합한 반면 다른 테이프 프레임에서 정보를 변하지 않게 하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  8. 제1 내지 제7항 중 어느 한항에 있어서, 기록된 정보 신호에 속하는 식별 정보는 기록 캐리어에 기록되고, 상기 식별 정보는 상기 정보신호에 대응하는 정보를 포함하는 테이프 프레임을 지시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  9. 제8항에 있어서, 상기 식별 정보는 상기 기록 캐리어의 다수의 상기 트랙에 병렬로 위치한 부가 트랙에 기록되는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  10. 제1 내지 제9항 중 어느 한 항에 있어서, 상기 장치는 데이타 감소 수단을 더 포함하여 상기 정보 신호의 채널 인코딩에 앞서 기록되는 정보 신호를 데이타 감소시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 기록 장치.
  11. 제1 내지 제10항 중 어느 한 항에 기록된 기록 장치에 의해 얻어진 기록 캐리어로부터 적어도 제1 및 제2정보 신호를 재생하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티트랙 재생 장치.
  12. 제1 내지 제7항 중 어느 한 항에서 청구된 기록 장치로 얻은 기록 캐리어에 있어서, 기록 캐리어의 종형 방향으로 나란히 뻗은 다수의 트랙을 포함하고, 다수의 트랙 각각은 기록된 정보의 트랙 프레임을 갖고, 트랙의 일련의 트랙 프레임은 프레임간 갭으로 분할되고, 다수의 트랙에서 주변 트랙 프레임은 실질적으로 길이가 동일하며 정보의 테이프 프레임을 형성하는 다수의 트랙에서 주변 프레임간 갭은 실질즉으로 길이가 동일하고, n 채널 인코딩 데이타 감소 정보 신호가 상기 다수의 종형 트랙에 일련의 테이프 프레임에 기록되고, 하나의 채널 인코딩 데이타 감소 정보 신호에 속하는 정보는 각각 n번째 테이프 프레임에 기록되고, 여기서 n≥2인것을 특징으로 하는 기록 캐리어.
  13. 제12항에 있어서, 정보 신호에 속하는 식별 정보가 상기 기록 캐리어에 기록되고, 상기 식별 정보는 상기 정보 신호에 대응하는 정보를 포함하는 테이프 프레임을 지시하는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록 캐리어.
  14. 제13항에 있어서,식별 정보가 상기 기록 캐리어의 다수의 트랙에 병렬로 위치한 부가 트랙에 기록되는 것을 특징으로 하는 기록 캐리어.
