Abstract
본 발명은 고정 위치에 분산되어 있는 각각 입체형인 복수의 연마 복합체들(15), (21)이 일정 배열로 가상면 내에서 전개되어 있는 주표면을 함유하는 시이트형 구조의 연마 물품(11)에 관한 것으로, 각 복합체(15), (21)는 결합제(17) 내에 분산된 연마 입자(16)를 갖고 있는 본질적으로 정확한 형태와 원말단(D)을 갖고 있으며, 또 다른 가상면(114)이 상기 제1가상면(111)으로부터 이격되어 평행하게 신장되며, 복합체들(15), (21) 중의 최단 원말단(D´)을 가로지르며, 이 가상면내에서 목적하는 사용 방향(들)으로 도시된 임의의 가상선이 일정 배열의 연마 복합체들(15), (21) 중의 하나 이상의 횡단면을 가로지르고 있다. 또한 본 발명은 상기 연마 물품을 제조하는 방법 및 이를 사용하여 가공품 표면을 정련하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

제5도 및 제6도는 일정 배열의 본 발명에 있어서 도그본형 복합체의 다양한 배열을 예시적으로 나타낸 상면도이다.
제7도 및 제8도는 각각 여러 배열로 이루어진 본 발명에 있어서 복합체들의 크로스-헤치 형 배열 및 오늬무늬 배열을 예시적으로 나타낸 상면도이다.
Claims (8)
- (a) 고정 위치에 분산된 각각 입체형인 복수의 연마 복합체(15), (21)가 제1가상면(111) 내에서 전개되어 있는 주표면(11), (25); (b) 종방향축(14) 및 대향성의 측면 가장자리(12), (13); 및 (c) 최단 원말단(D´)을 가로지르는 제1가상면(111)으로부터 이격되어 평행하게 신장되는 제4가상면(114)을 함유하며, 상기 복합체(15), (21) 각각은 결합체(17) 내에 분산된 연마 입자(16)를 함유하고 상기 주표면(11), (25)으로부터 이격된 원말단(D)과 본질적으로 정확한 형태를 가지며, 이러한 복수의 복합체들이 각각 상기 제1가상면(111)에 평행하고 동일평면상의 횡단면을 함유하고, 이러한 복합체들중 하나 이상의 복합체(들)이, 상기 제1가상면(111)에 대해 수직방향으로 측정시 상기 주표면에 가장 근접하게 이격된 원말단(D´)을 갖고 있으며, 상기 각 측면 가장자리(12), (13)는 상기 종방향 축(14)에 평행하고, 각각 상기 제1가상면(111)에 수직방향으로 신장하는 제2가상면(112) 및 제3가상면(113) 내에 있으며, 상기 제2가상면(112)과 상기 제3가상면(113) 사이에 상기 종방향축(14)에 평행한 방향으로 상기 제4가상면(114) 내에서 도시되는 임의의 가상선이 일정 배열의 상기 연마 복합체(15), (21) 중의 하나 이상의 횡단면을 가로지르는 것인, 시트형 구조를 특징으로 하는 연마 물품(1).
- 제1항에 있어서, 복합체(15), (21)가 상기 시이트형 구조체의 주표면(11), (25)과 접촉하고 있는 제1부(28) 및 외측 말단으로서 제2부(23)를 지닌 기하형태를 가지며, 상기 제1부는 절두-원추형이고 상기 제2부는 둥근형인 것을 특징으로 하는 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 각 원말단(D)이 복수 복합체들(15), (21)의 서로 다른 원말단들과 접촉되어 있지 않은 것을 특징으로 하는 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 복합체들(15), (21)의 각 원말단(D)이 주표면(11), (25)으로부터 약 50 마이크로미터 내지 약 1020 마이크로미터의 거리(H)를 두고 수직으로 이격되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 복합체들(15), (21)의 각 원말단(D)이 주표면(11), (25)으로부터 본질적으로 동일한 거리(H)를 두고 수직으로 이격되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연마 물품.
- 제1항에 있어서, 연마 복합체들(15), (21)이 주표면(11), (25) 상에 약 100 내지 약 10,000개/cm2연마 복합체의 밀도로 고착되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 연마 물품.
- 고정 위치에 분산된 각각 입체형인 복수의 연마 복합체(15), (21)를 지닌 주표면(11), (25)을 함유하는 시이트형 구조로 이루어지며, 상기 복합체(15), (21) 각각은 결합제(17) 내에 분산된 연마 입자(16)를 함유하고 본질적으로 정확한 형태를 가지며, 상기 복합체(15), (21)는 상기 주표면(11), (25)에 접촉되어 있는 절두-원추형(28) 및 원말단(23)으로서 둥근형태로 이루어진 입체적인 기하형태를 갖는 연마 물품(1).
- (a) 결합제 전구체내에 분산된 연마 입자를 함유하는 연마 슬러리를 제조하는 단계; (b) (i) 종방향축(14) 및 한쌍의 대향성 측면 가장자리(12), (13)를 지닌 주요 앞면을 갖는 백킹(26), (41) 및 (ii) 평행한 대향성 측면 가장자리에 의해 한정되는 주표면 및 이 주표면에 개구부를 지닌 벽으로 둘러싸인 홈으로 각각 상기 종방향축(14)에 평행하며, 각각 상기 앞면에 대해 수직 방향으로 신장하는 제2가상면(112) 및 제3가상면(113) 내에 있으며, 각 공동은 특정 크기를 갖는 독특하고 구별가능한 경계에 의해 한정된 정확한 형태로 이루어져, 상기 제작용 금형의 대향성 측면 가장자리에 평행한 방향으로 상기 제작용 금형의 주표면을 가로지르도록 도시된 임의의 가상선이 상기 배열의 공동중에서 하나 이상의 공동 개구부를 가로지르게 되며; (c) 상기 연마 슬러리를 도포하고 상기 제작용 금형(46)내 존재하는 복수의 공동을 적어도 충전시키는 수단을 제공하는 단계; (d) 상기 백킹(26), (41)의 주요 앞면을 상기 제작용 금형(46)에 접촉시켜 연마 슬러리가 상기 주요 앞면을 습윤화 시키도록 하는 단계; (e) 결합제 전구체를 고형화시켜 결합제를 형성시키고, 고형화시 연마 슬러리가 복수의 연마 복합체로 전환되는 단계; 및 (f) 상기 고형화후; 상기 주요 앞면으로부터 상기 제작용 금형(46)을 분리시켜 상기 백킹(26), (41)에 일정 배열로 부착된 각각 입체형인 복수의 연마 복합체(15), (21)를 제1가상면(111) 내에서 전개되어 있는 주표면(11), (25) 상에 제공하는 단계로서, 이때 상기 복합체들(15), (21) 각각은 상기 복합체(15), (21) 각각은 결합제(17) 내에 분산된 연마 입자(16)를 함유하고 상기 주표면(11), (25)으로부터 이격된 원말단(D)과 본질적으로 정확한 형태를 가지며, 이러한 복수의 복합체들이 각각 상기 제1가상면(111)에 평행하고 동일평면상의 횡단면을 함유하고, 이러한 복합체들중 하나 이상의 복합체(들)이, 상기 제1가상면(111)에 대해 수직방향으로 측정시 상기 주표면에 가장 근접하게 이격된 원말단(D´)을 갖고 있으며, 상기 제2가상면(112)과 상기 제3가상면(113) 사이에 상기 종방향축(14)에 평행한 방향으로 상기 제4가상면(114) 내에서 도시되는 임의의 가상선이 일정 배열의 사익 연마 복합체(15), (21) 중의 하나 이상의 횡단면을 가로지르게 되는 단계로 구성되는 것을 특징으로 하는 제1항의 연마 물품을 제조하는 방법.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
