Abstract

본 발명은 복잡한 형상을 가지면서도 균일하고 고밀도의 단단한 표충을 표면에 가지며, 수축이 거의 없고 또한 외관이 양호한 발포 성형물을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다.

고밀도의 표층을 갖는 발포 성형물의 제조 방법
본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 본 발명에 따른 성형물을 제조할 때 사용한 주형의 개략적인 단면다,제2도는 실시예 1과 2에서의 가열 시간과 표면 압력 사이의 관계를 나타내는 그래프.

Claims (3)

  1. 하나 이상의 증기실을 각각 가지고 있는 오목 주형과 블록 주형으로 구성된 주형안에 발포 수지 입자를 충전 및 융착시켜 고밀도의 표충을 갖는 불포 성형물을 제조하는 방법에 있어서, 오목 주형과 블록 주형사이에 형성된 공동에 발포 수지 입자를 압축-충전시키고, 오목 주형 또는 볼록 주형의 증기실에 증기를 주입하여 상기 발포 수지 입자의 용융점 이상의 온도로 주형을 가열하면서 주형과 접촉하는 발포 수지 입자를 용융시켜 성형물 표면에 표충을 형성시키고, 주형에 충전된 발포 수지 입자의 표면 압력을 측정하고, 상기 입자의 표면 압력이 0.01 내지 1.5㎏/㎠G의 범위에 있을 때, 주형 내에 잔존하는 입자 공극의 공기를 배출시키고, 또 입자 사이의 공간으로 상기 수지 입자의 용융점 이하 온도의 증기를 주입하여 이들 입자를 함께 가열 융착시키는 것을 특징으로 하는 발포 성형물의 제조 방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 하기 식(Ⅰ)로 구한 입자의 압출율이 3 내지 70%의 범위에 속하도록 발포 수지 입자를 충전시키는 방법:
    상기 식에서, C : 압축율(%), p1: 충전 전 발포 수지 입자의 밀도(㎏/㎥), p2: 표층 의 밀도(㎏/㎥), p3: 표층이외 부위의 밀도(㎏/㎥), t1: 성형물의 두께(㎜), t2: 표층의 두께(㎜), t3: 표충 이외 부위의 두께(㎜).
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 발포수지 입자가 폴리스티렌 수지 입자, 폴리에틸렌 수지 입자 및 폴리프로필렌 수지 입자로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 한 종류 이상의 입자인 방법.
