Abstract

본 발명은 용접방법 및 그 장치에 관한 것으로, 특히 원유저장용 대형탱크를 만들기 위한 탱크 벽면쉘의 용접방법 및 그 장치에 관한 것이다. 종래에는 원유저장용 대형탱크 제작시 대부분의 용접공정을 수동용접에 의존하였다. 본 발명에서는 수평용접은 탱크의 안쪽과 바깥쪽에서 동시에 수행하고, 수직용접은 코퍼 바를 이용하여 한쪽면에서 용접작업을 완료하도록 되어 있다. 본 발명의 용접방법 및 그 장치를 이용하면 용접품질향상, 생산능률향상에 따른 공사기간단축 등의 효과를 얻을 수 있다. 본 발명은 원유저장용 대형탱크의 제작에 적용된다.The present invention relates to a welding method and apparatus, and more particularly, to a welding method and apparatus for a tank wall shell for making a large tank for storing crude oil.
