Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
본 발명은 베이스와 액츄에이터 피봇베어링이 일체화된 구조의 하드디스크 드라이브에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
본 발명은 기구물의 조립공차를 줄여 헤드의 부상 높이를 안정화시키고, 충격 및 진동에 의한 나사 풀림을 방지할 수 있도록 베이스와 액츄에이터 피봇베어링을 일체화한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치를 제공하는데 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은 드라이브의 베이스 일측에 보스를 형성하고, 상기 보스에 피봇베어링을 직접 설치하여 액츄에이터의 기구부품에 의한 조립공차를 줄이고, 나사를 사용하지 않고 조립함으로써 충격 및 진동으로 인한 액츄에이터의 풀림을 방지할 수 있도록 한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
본 발명은 상술한 바와 같은 조립공차를 줄임으로써 헤드 부상 높이에 영향을 주는 그램 로드(Gram Load)의 안정화를 가져 올 수 있고, 나사 체결이 불필요함에 따라 부품수 및 작업 공수를 줄일 수 있어 생산성 향상을 가져오게 되는 잇점이 있다.

Claims (4)

  1. 컴퓨터의 보조 기억장치로 사용되는 하드디스크 드라이브 장치에 있어서, 상기 드라이브의 베이스(10)에 엑츄에이터(16) 고정용 피봇베어링(12)을 일체화하기 위하여, 상기 베이스(10)는 일측에 상기 피봇베어링(12)을 고정하기 위한 보스(11)를 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 베이스와 엑츄에이터 피봇베어링을 일체화한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 베이스(10)의 보스(11)는 원기둥 모양으로 형성됨을 특징으로 하는 베이스와 액츄에이터 피봇베어링을 일체화한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 피봇베어링(12)은 상기 보스(11)에 고정시키기 위해 내측 링 볼레이스(13)와, 볼(14) 및 외측 링 볼 레이스(15)로 분리됨을 특징으로 하는 베이스와 액츄에이터 피봇베어링을 일체화한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 내측 링 볼 레이스(13)는 상기 베이스(10)의 보스(11)에 본딩(Bonding)으로 고정됨을 특징으로 하는 베이스와 액츄에이터 피봇베어링을 일체화한 하드디스크 드라이브 장치.
