디시크/디스크 1. 청구 범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
본 발명은 하드디스크 드라이브의 스핀들 모터에 디스크를 고정시키기 위한 디스크 클램핑 장치에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
본 발명은 디스크 고정면의 응력분포를 고르게 유지하면서 단단한 고정을 이루도록 하는 디스크 클램핑 장치를 제공하는데 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
본 발명은 통상의 디스크 클램핑 장치에 있어, 디스크를 압착하는 클램프의 형상을 스핀들 모터와 허브와 접촉하는 부위, 즉 나사 체결되눈 부위에 밴딩으로 인한 힘의 분산을 최소화 할 수 있드록 경사각을 주고, 또한 어떠한 클램핑력이 작용하더라도 동일한 힘이 일중심에 집중하도록 디스크면과 접촉하는 부위를 라운드형으로 형성한다.
4. 발명의 중요한 용도
본 발명에 따른 하드디스크 드라이브의 디스크 클램핑 장치는 어떠한 클램핑력이 작용하더라도 늘 같은 힘이 정 가운데에 집중되도록 함으로써 디스크에 가해지는 클램핑력이 고르게 디스크의 전면에 분포된, 헤드의 비행성능 및 CSS특성, 읽기/쓰기 성능에 큰 개선을 가져올 수 있는 잇점이 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 하드디스크 드라이브의 스핀들 모터에 디스크를 고정시키기 위한 디스크 클램핑 장치에 있어서, 상기 스핀들 모터(11)에 상기 디스크(10)를 고정시키기 위하여, 나사 체결시 힘의 분산을 최소화하기 위해 상기 스핀들 모터(11)와 접촉하는 부위에 경사면(15a)을 형성하고, 일정한 힘의 집중을 위해 상기 디스크(10)와 접촉하는 압착부(17)를 라운드형으로 형성하며, 상기 디스크(10)에 접촉하는 압착부(17)의 압착력이 정하향으로만 작용하도록 하기 위해 상기 압착부(17)의 반대쪽에 경사면(15b)을 형성하는 클램프(15)를 사용함을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 디스크 클램핑 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 클램프(15)는 상기 스핀들 모터(11)의 상면과 접촉하는 부분에 일정한 각도(“b”)로 경사면(15a)을 형성하고, 상기 경사면(15a)부분에 나사 체결을 위한 구멍(16)을 형성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 하드디스크 드라이브의 디스크 클램핑 장치.
