Abstract

양이온성 변성 에폭시수지가 차단된 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제로 가교된 유형의 음극 전착도료가 개시된다. 도료는 분자중에 적어도 하나의 옥사졸리돈고리를 가지고 Tg가 0℃ 내지 35℃ 범위인 양이온성 변성 에폭시 수지와 차단된 지환족 폴리이소시아네이트를 함유한다. 납계 방청안료의 사용이 배제되거나 실질적으로 감소될 수도 있다. 지환족 폴리이소시아네이트가 비시클로알칸 폴리이소시아네이트일 때, 유기용매의 사용도 감소될 수 있다.

Claims (10)

  1. 중화제를 함유하는 수성매체중에 분산된 (a) 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지 및 (b) 차단된 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제 혼합물로 이루어진 음극 전착도료에 있어서, 상기 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지가 분자중에 적어도 하나의 옥사졸리돈 고리를 가지고, 10℃ 내지 35℃ 범위의 Tg를 가지고, 상기 차단된 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제가 차단제로 가역적으로 차단된 지환족 폴리이소시아네이트이고, 도료가 800ppm 이하의 납이온을 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지는 연질 세그먼트 함유 비스우레탄과 디글리시딜에테르 에폭시수지를 반응시켜 옥사졸리돈 고리함유 에폭시수지를 제조한 후, 양이온성기를 도입할 수 있는 활성수소화합물과 생성된 수지의 잔여 에폭시기를 반응시켜 제조되는 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 비스우레탄이 모노알코올로 디이소시아네이트의 하나의 이소시아네이트기를 가역적으로 차단시키고, 연질 세그먼트를 갖는 일작용기성 활성 수소 화합물로 다른 이소시아네이트기를 비가역적으로 차단시켜 제조한 비대칭 디이소시아네이트계 비스우레탄인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  4. 제2항에 있어서, 상기 비스우레탄이 모노알코올로 연질 세그먼트를 함유하는 이작용기성 우레탄 프리폴리머를 가역적으로 차단시켜 제조한 우레탄 프리폴리머계 대칭 비스우레탄인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 지환족 폴리이소시아네이트가 이소포론디이소시아네이트, 2, 5/2, 6-비스(이소시아네이토메틸)비시클로[2.2.1]헵탄, 수소화 TDI, 수소화 MDI, 수소화 XDI, 그것의 이량체, 삼량체 또는 다가알코올 부가물이고, 상기 차단제가 락탐 또는 옥심인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지와 상기 차단 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제의 고형분 중량비가 95:5 내지 45:50인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  7. 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지와 차단 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제로 이루어지는 음극 전착도료에 있어서, 상기 차단 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제가 차단제로 차단된 비시클로알칸 폴리이소시아네이트이고, 도료가 기판에의 전착에 적합한 농도로 희석한 후 도료의 2중량% 이하의 유기용매를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 비시클로알칸 폴리이소시아네이트가 2, 5/2, 6-비스(이소시아네이토메틸)비시클로[2.2.1]헵탄, 그것의 이량체, 삼량체 또는 다가알코올 부가물이고, 상기 차단제가 락탐 또는 옥심인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지가 분자중에 적어도 하나의 옥사졸리돈 고리를 함유하는 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
  10. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 양이온성 변성 에폭시수지와 상기 차단 폴리이소시아네이트 가교제의 고형분 중량비가 95:5 내지 45:50인 것을 특징으로 하는 음극 전착도료.
