Abstract

본 발명은 하드디스크 드라이브 스핀들 모터 등의 회전체에 적용되는 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터에 관하여 개시한 것으로서, 본 발명에 의한 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터는 회전자에 마련되는 영구자석과 스테이터가 위치 편차를 가지도록 설치되어 회전자가 상방향으로 부상되는 힘을 발생시키는 자속경로를 형성함으로써 정지마찰 감소에 따라 기동이 용이하도록 한 것이다.

제2도는 본 발명에 의한 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터의 요부를 나타내 보인 개략적 단면구성도이다.
제3도는 제2도에 도시된 본 발명에 의한 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터의 작동원리를 설명하기 위해 나타내 보인 개략도이다.

Claims (2)

  1. 베이스에 설치된 샤프트에 관통 삽입된 상태로 지지되는 스테이터와, 이 스테이터 및 상기 샤프트를 감싸도록 형성된 회전자와, 상기 회전자의 내측에 마련된 1쌍의 영구자석을 포함하는 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터에 있어서, 상기 영구자석은 상기 스테이터와 중력 방향의 위치 편차를 가지도록 그 중심이 서로 어긋난 상태로 설치된 것을 특징으로 하는 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 영구자석과 상기 스테이터는 상기 샤프트를 중심으로 대칭구조를 이루어 중력에 대응하는 방향의 힘이 균형을 이루도록 된 것을 특징으로 하는 공기 베어링을 구비한 모터.
