Abstract

1. 청구범위에 기재된 발명이 속한 기술분야
자기 디스크 구동 기록장치인 하드 디스크 드라이브에 관한 것으로, 특히 트랙탐색 모드시 버스트신호를 이용하여 고속 탐색을 구현할 수 있는 서보패턴 기록방법에 관한 것이다.
2. 발명이 해결하려고 하는 기술적 과제
그레이코드구간의 길이를 단축하여 트랙 탐색속도를 고속화할 수 있는 서보패턴 기록방법을 제공함에 있다.
3. 발명의 해결방법의 요지
고속 탐색속도를 갖기 위한 서보패턴 기록방법에 있어서, AGC를 정규화시키기 위한 AGC 리카버리 구간과, 그레이코드를 리드하기 위한 동기를 제고하는 서보 어드레스 마크 구간과, 트랙추종을 위해 요구되는 위치에러신호 및 그레이코드의 상위 비트정보가 기록되는 다수의 버스트신호 구간과, 각 트랙의 ID정보 및 인덱스 정보를 제공하는 그레이코드 구간이 순차적으로 기록됨을 특징으로 한다.

하드 디스크 드라이브의 고속 탐색을 위한 서보패턴 기록에 사용될 수 있다.

본 내용은 요부공개 건이므로 전문내용을 수록하지 않았음
제1도는 일반적인 서보패턴의 구성을 보인 포맷도.
제2도는 본 발명에 따른 서보패턴의 구성을 보인 포맷도.
제3도는 제2도의 구성을 갖는 서보패턴중 디스크상에 기록되어 있는 버스트신호와 그에 따른 헤드 궤젝의 상태를 보인 일예도.
제4도는 제3도에서 도시한 바와 같은 헤드 궤적에 의한 SAM 윈도우 일예도.

Claims (3)

  1. 고속 탐색속도를 갖기 위한 서보패턴 기록방법에 있어서, AGC를 정규화시키기 위한 AGC 리카버리 구간과, 그레이코드를 리드하기 위한 동기를 제공하는 서보 어드레스 마크 구간과, 트랙추종을 위해 요구되는 위치 에러신호 및 그레이코드의 상위 비트정보가 기록되는 다수의 버스트신호 구강과, 각 트랙의 ID정보 및 정보를 제공하는 그레이코드 구간이 순차적으로 기록됨을 특징으로 하는 서보패턴 기록방법.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 버스트신호 구간은 기, 우수 트랙구별을 위한 버스트신호가 더 구비되며 각각의 버스트신호 구간에 상기 그레이코드의 상위 비트가 기록됨을 특징으로 하는 서보패턴 기록방법.
  3. 제2항에 있어서, 버스트신호 구간의 각각의 버스트신호는 디스크상에 사선방향으로 기록함을 특징으로 하는 서보패턴 기록방법.
