Abstract

본 발명은 I-CATV 에 사용되는 휴대용 STU의 검사기에 관한 것으로, 이를 해결하기 위하여 네트워크시스템과 통신할 수 있는 STU(100)의 송,수신부와 검사기의 송,수신부간에 상호 연결하고서 STU의 이상 유무를 검출하는 장치에 있어서,STU (100)의 이상상태 검사를 행하기 위한 표준 데이타 정보를 저장하고 있는 제1메모리(210),제1메모리(210)로부터 복원되는 표준 데이타정보를 MPEG2의 표준규격화에 맞도록 인코딩을 행하는 MPEG2 인코더 모듈러(220),이상유무 검사신호에 의거하여 MPEG2 인코더 모듈러(220)에 의해서 인코딩된 데이타를 STU(100)로 제공하며, 이로부터 STU(100)의 이상 유무가 검출될 수 있도록 제어하는 마이크로 프로세서(230)를 구비함으로써 STU의 각 기능부재의 동작을 보다 정확하게 검사할 수 있는 효과가 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 네트워크 시스템과 통신할 수 있는 STU(100)의 송,수신부와 검사기의 송,수신부간에 상호 연결하고서 STU의 이상 유무를 검출하는 장치에 있어서,상기 STU (100)의 이상상태 검사를 행하기 위한 표준 데이타 정보를 저장하고 있는 제1메모리(210)와; 상기 제1메모리(210)로부터 복원되는 표준 데이타정보를 MPEG2의 표준규격화에 맞도록 인코딩을 행하는 MPEG2 인코더 모듈러(220)와 ;이상유무 검사신호에 의거하여 상기MPEG2 인코더 모듈러(220)에 의해서 인코딩된 데이타를 상기 STU(100)로 제공하며, 이로부터 상기STU(100)의 이상 유무가 검출될 수 있도록 제어하는 마이크로 프로세서(230)를 포함함을 특징으로 하는 셋탑유닛(STU)의 검사기.
