Abstract
본 발명은 미니 디스크 플레이어의 포커스 서치 장치에 관한 것으로, 디스크(400) 로부터 반사된 광을 픽업 및 전류 신호로 변환하여 출력하는 광 픽업부(410)와, 광 픽업부(410)로부터 제공되는 전류 신호를 전압 신호로 변환 및 증푹하여 출력하는 Ⅰ-V 변환부(420)와, Ⅰ-V 변환부(420)로부터 제공되는 전압 신호를 기준 신호와 비교하여 기준 신호보다 크면 이에 따른 비교 신호를 발생하는 비교부(430)와, 비교부(430)로부터 제공되는 비교 신호를 카운트하여 그 카운트값이 2가 되면 포커스 O.K 신호를 발생하는 카운터부(440)와, 카운터부(440)로부터 포커스 O.K 신호가 제공되면 이에따른 제어 신호를 발생하며, 카운터부(440)를 리셋(reset)시키기 위한 클럭 신호를 카운터부 (440)로 출력하는 마이컴(450)과; 마이컴(450)으로부터 제공되는 제어 신호에 따라 포커스 서치 및 포커스 서보 신호를 광 픽업부(410)로 제공하는 포커스 제어부(460)를 포함하고 구성된다.
따라서, 본 발명은 MD에서 CD와 동일한 방법으로 포커스 서치를 실행할 수 있고, 또한 포커스 서치의 실패를 방지하며, 포커스 서치의 동작 시간을 줄일 수 있는 장점이 있다.

Claims (2)
- 미니 디스크 플레이어의 포커스 서치 장치에 있어서, 디스크(400)로부터 반사된 광을 픽업한 후 전류 신호로 변환하여 출력하는 광 픽업부(410)와; 상기 광 픽업부(410)로부터 제공되는 전류 신호를 전압 신호로 변환 및 소정의 크기로 증푹하여 출력하는 Ⅰ-V 변환부(420)와; 상기 Ⅰ-V 변환부(420)로부터 제공되는 전압 신호를 사전 설정된 기준 신호와 비교하여 상기 전압 신호가 기준 신호보다 크면 이에 따른 비교 신호를 발생하는 비교부(430)와; 상기 비교부(430)로부터 제공되는 비교 신호를 카운트하여 그 카운트값이 2가 되면 포커스 O.K 신호를 발생하는 카운터부(440)와; 상기 카운터부(440)로부터 포커스 O.K 신호가 제공되면 이에따른 제어 신호를 발생하고, 상기 카운터부(440)를 리셋(reset)시키기 위한 클럭 신호를 상기 카운터부 (440)로 출력하는 마이컴(450)과; 상기 마이컴(450)으로부터 제공되는 제어 신호에 따라 포커스 서치 및 포커스 서보 신호를 상기 광 픽업부(410)로 제공하는 포커스 제어부(460)를 포함하는 미니 디스크 플레이어의 포커스 서치 장치.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 카운터부(440)는, 상기 비교부(430)의 출력 신호의 에지를 검출하여 출력하는 에지 검출기(442)와; 상기 에지 검출기(442)의 출력 신호를 카운터하여 그 카운트 값을 각각 출력하는 4진 계수기(444)와; 상기 4진 계수기(444)의 출력신호를 연산하여 포커스 O.K 신호를 출력하는 AND 게이트(446)를 포함하는 미니 디스크 플레이어의 포커스 서치 장치.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개되는 것임.
