Abstract

본 발명은 실린더 헤드와 실린더 블럭을 개별적으로 냉각 및 예열토록 하는 수냉식 엔진의 냉각장치에 대한 것이다.
즉 본 발명은 엔진으로부터 냉각수가 유도되는 수온 조절 장치내에 2개의 서모스탯이 대응되게 장착되도록 하여 하나는 실린더 헤드로부터 유도되는 냉각수를 제1바이패스 통로와 제1공급통로로 공급시키고, 다른 하나는 실린더 블럭으로부터 유도되는 냉각수를 제2바이패스 통로와 제2공급통로로 공급시키도록 하되 유입되는 냉각수의 수온에 따라 각 서모스탯이 개별적으로 작동하면서 양 서모스탯 사이에 연결된 냉각 통로를 통해 냉각수가 라디에이터로 순환되도록 하므로서 엔진의 실질적인 냉각 효율을 향상시켜 엔진의 내구력을 증강시키면서 연료의 무화 촉진에 따라 연소력 증대와 출력 향상이 기대되며, 그에 따라 연비를 극대화시킬 수 있는 매우 유용한 효과가 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 엔진으로부터 냉각수가 유도되는 수온 조절 장치내에 2개의 서모스탯이 대응되게 장착되도록 하여 하나는 실린더 헤드로부터 유도되는 냉각수를 제1바이패스 통로와 제1공급통로로 공급시키고, 다른 하나는 실린더 블럭으로부터 유도되는 냉각수를 제2바이패스 통로와 제2공급통로로 공급시키도록 하되 유입되는 냉각수의 수온에 따라 각 서모스탯이 개별적으로 작동하면서 양 서모스탯 사이에 연결된 냉각 통로를 통해 냉각수가 라디에이터로 순환되도록 하는 구성을 특징으로 하는 수냉식 엔진의 냉각장치.
