Abstract

드릴 인서트는 드릴공구를 가공물로부터 빼냄에 있어서 외부날 인서트와 구멍벽 사이에서 접촉하지 않고 더 좋은 마무리 면으로 가공할 수 있다.
절삭날이 다각형 판상제의 상부면 첨단 앵글부분상에 형성된 드릴 인서트(1)에 있어서, 인서트(1)의 중심축에 대해 점대칭 관계로 있는 한쌍의 절삭날은 주절삭날(3,3)로 형성되고, 주절삭날(3)에 연속하는 코너(R) 부분(4)과 코너(R) 부분(4)에 대해 서로 대향하는 코너(R) 부분(5)을 가진 돌출부(6)는 서로에 대해 점대칭 관계로 주절삭날(3,3)에 연속한 한쌍의 절삭날상에 각각 형성되어 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 절삭날이 다각형 판상체의 상부면 첨단 앵글부분상에 형성된 드릴 인서트에 있어서, 인서트의 중심축에 대해 점대칭 관계로 있는 한쌍의 절삭날은 주절삭날로 형성되고, 주절삭날에 연속하는 코너(R)부분과 코너(R)부분에 대해 서로 대향하는 코너(R)부분을 가진 돌출부는 서로에 대해 점대칭 관계로 주절삭날에 연속한 한쌍의 절삭날상에 각각 형성되어 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인서트.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 돌출부가 형성된 측면의 길이에 대한 돌출부의 폭의 비율은 2/5 내지 3/5인 것을 특징으로 하는 드릴 인서트.
