Abstract

본 발명은 페놀을 과산화수소를 산화제로 하여 0.9위치에 선택적으로 산화시켜 카테콜과 히드로퀴논을 제조하는 촉매조성물 및 이 촉매조성물을 이용하여 카테콜 및 히드로퀴논의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
기존의 촉매는 균일상 촉매로 반응후 촉매의 회수가 어렵고, 폐수발생량이 많지만 본 발명의 촉매는 불균일상 촉매로 반응후 촉매의 회수가 간단하고 반응후 직접 증류장치에 투입되므로서 폐수발생이 거의 없고 반응생성물 중 카테콜의 생성비가 높고 우수한 활성을 가진다.

Claims (3)

  1. 다음 일반식(I)로 표시되는 페놀과 과산화수소의 산화반응에 의한 카테콜과 히드로퀴논 제조용 촉매 조성물
    여기에서, A는 비스무스, 코발트, 니켈, 구리, 인 또는 칼슘 중에서 선택된 것이고, B는 티타늄, 주석, 안티몬, 세륨 또는 갈륨 중에서 선택된 것이고, M는 몰리브텐, 텅스텐 또는 바나듐 중에서 선택된 것이고, a, b, c, 및 x는 각 성분의 몰수이다. 단, a/c는 0 내지 3,b/c는 0 내지 3, c는 0.5 내지 5이고, x는 조성물을 이루고 있는 원소의 산화상태에 의해 결정된다.
  2. 다음 일반식(I)로 표시되는 촉매 존재하에 불균일상 촉매반응으로 페놀과 과산화수소를 반응시켜 카테콜과 히드로퀴논을 함께 제조하는 방법.

  3. 제2항에 있어서, 페놀이 방향족 화합물을 함유하는 혼합물 상태의 페놀이고, 과산화수소가 메틸이소부틸 케톤을 함유하는 과산화수소인 방법.
