Abstract

멀티 레벨 전력 변환 시스템용 스너버회로에 있어서 부하전류를 우회시키는 경로를 제공하기 위한 다이오우드와 스너버 커패시터가 3개의 전력용 스윗칭 소자에 병렬로 접속되고, 하나의 턴-오프 스너버 커패시티의 충전 및 방전 각각에 의하여 교호적으로 턴-오프 되어지는 스윗칭 소자 2개의 턴-오프시 전압 상승율을 제어하므로써 본원 스너버회로는 종래의 스너버회로를 3-레벨 GTO 인버터에 적용할 때보다 스너버회로로 인한 전력손실을 반이상 줄일 수 있고 각 GTO의 턴-오프시 나타나는 과전압을 효과적으로 제한할 수 있다. 또한 기존의 스너버회로를 3-레벨 인버터에 적용할 경우 나타내는 내외측 소자간의 차단전압 불균형 문제를 해결할 수 있으므로 내측소자를 더욱 안전하게 보호할 수 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 부하전류를 우회시키는 경로를 제공하기 위한 다이오우드와 스너버 커패시터가 3개의 전력용 스윗칭 소자에 병렬로 접속되고, 하나의 턴-오프 스너버 커패시터의 충전 및 방전 각각에 의하여 교호적으로 턴-오프 되어지는 스윗칭 소자 2개의 턴-오프시 전압 상승률을 제어할 수 있는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티레벨 전력변환 시스템용 스너버회로.
  2. 제1항에 있어서 턴-오프 스너버 커패시터가 DC 링크 전압 이상으로 충전되는 경우 이와 병렬로 접속된 과전압 제한 커패시터가 동작하여 턴-오프 되어지는 스윗칭 소자의 과전압을 제한하는 것을 특징으로 하는 멀티레벨 전력변환 시스템용 스너버회로.
