Abstract
Apparatus for generating non-polarized light is provided, which includes a light generating element (11) for generating a predetermined light, a directional coupler (13) for dividing the light which is generated by the light generating element (11), a first and a second optical fiber (17, 18) for respectively transmitting the light which is divided into two branches, a first reflection element (15) for reflecting the light which is transmitted through the first optical fiber (18), and a second reflection element (14) for reflecting the light which is transmitted through the second optical fiber (17) to have a 90= polarized light, wherein the apparatus are made of the elements which are commercially and easily available so that the construction of the apparatus may be simplified.
