Abstract

코드의 물리적 구성 및 이 코드에 의해 실행된 기본 동작 모두에 관해 코드 세그먼트 사이의 의미론(semantics)의 유사성을 나타내는 클러스터 인터페이스가 발생된다. 발생된 인터페이스는 하나 또는 그 이상의 코드 세그먼트를 나타낸다. 분석될 코드 세그먼트는 컴퓨터 시스템에 의해 수신된다. 추출된 통계적 정보에 의거한 외부 메트릭이 발생된다. 상기 추출된 통계적 정보에 의거하여 입력된 코드 세그먼트 사이의 유사성 관계를 나타내는 외부 메트릭으로부터 인터페이스 디스플레이가 생성된다.

제1도는 인터페이스를 발생시키는 시스템의 블록도, 제2도는 제1도 시스템에 의해 발생된 간단한 프로그램을 나타내 클러스터 인터페이스를 도시한 도면, 제3도는 제1도 시스템에 의해 발생된 보다 복잡한 프로그램의 전형적인 클러스터 인터페이스를 도시한 도면.

Claims (12)

  1. 최소한 1개의 코드 세그먼트에 대응하는 인터페이스를 발생시키는 장치에 있어서, 상기 최소한 1개의 코드 세그먼트로부터 통계적 정보를 추출하며 상기 통계적 정보를 사용하여 외부 메트릭(external metric)을 발생시키는 수단; 상기 외부 메트릭으로부터 인터페이스 디스플레이를 생성하는 수단; 및 상기 인터페이스 디스플레이를 생성하는 수단을 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 장치.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 인터페이스 디스플레이가 클러스터 인터페이스인 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 장치.
  3. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 외부 메트릭이 거리 함수(distance function)인 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 장치.
  4. 제3항에 있어서, 상기 거리 함수, di,j가에 일치하고, 이때, di.j=세그먼트 i와 세그먼트 j사이의 거리 k=애트리뷰트에 할당된 숫자, 이때 k=1,…k Wk=k번째 애트리뷰트에 적용된 웨이트 Xik=세그먼트 i에서 k번째 애트리뷰트의 값 Xjk=세그먼트 k에서 k번째 애트리뷰트의 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 장치.
  5. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 메트릭이 다중차원 스케일링(multidimensional scaling) 기법을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 장치.
  6. 제1항에 있어서, 최소한 1개의 코드 세그먼트를 저장하기 위한 수단을 더 구비하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 장치.
  7. 하나 또는 그 이상의 코드 세그먼트를 나타내는 인터페이스를 발생시키는 방법에 있어서, 하나 또는 그 이상의 코드 세그먼트로부터 통계적 정보를 추출하는 단계; 상기 추출된 정보에 의거하여 외부 메트릭을 발생시키는 단계; 및 상기 외부 메트릭으로부터 하나 또는 그 이상의 코드 세그먼트 사이의 유사성 관계를 나타내는 인터페이스 디스플레이를 발생시키는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 방법.
  8. 제7항에 있어서, 특정 코드 세그먼트를 나타내는 인터페이스 디스플레이상에서 최소한 한 점을 활성화시키는 단계; 상기 대표적인 코드 세그먼트를 검색하는 단계; 및 상기 대표적인 코드 세그먼트를 디스플레이하기 위해 2차 인터페이스를 발생시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 방법.
  9. 제7항에 있어서, 특정 코드 세그먼트를 나타내는 인터페이스 디스플레이상에 최소한 한 점을 활성화시키는 단계; 상기 특정 코드 세그먼트에 관한 통계적 정보를 검색하는 단계;및 상기 통계적 정보를 디스플레이하기 위한 2차 인터페이스를 발생시키는 단계를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 방법.
  10. 제7항에 있어서, 상기 외부 메트릭이 거리 함수인 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 방법.
  11. 제10항에 있어서, 상기 거리 함수 di.j가에 일치하며, 이때 di,j=세그먼트 i와 세그먼트 j사이의 거리 k=애트리뷰트에 할당된 숫자, 이때 k=1,…k번째 애트리뷰트에 적용된 웨이트 Xik=세그먼트 i에서 k번째 애트리뷰트의 값 Xjk=세그먼트 k에서 k번째 애트리뷰트의 값인 것을 특징으로 하는 인터페이스 발생 방법.
