Abstract
본 발명에 의한 동영상 부호화기에서는 소스 입력신호를 주파수대역별로 N개의 서브밴드신호로 나누어 각 서브밴드신호에 대하여 병렬로 부호화처리함으로써 부호화에 소요되는 시간을 줄일 수 있고, 각 주파수대역에 대하여 조밀하게 양자화를 수행할 수 있으므로 복원영상의 화질을 개선시킬 수 있는 이점이 있다.In the video encoder according to the present invention, the time required for encoding can be reduced by dividing the source input signal into N subband signals for each frequency band in parallel for each subband signal, and compactly quantizing each frequency band.
