Abstract

본 발명은 평판 표시소자에 관한 것으로서 보다 상세하게는 음극에서 방출한 전자를 라인전극에 의해 상하부유리기판과 평행한 방향으로 가속이동시켜 각각의 발광화소로 유도함으로써 각 발광화소의 형광체를 발광시킬 수 있도록 한 평판 표시소자에 관한 것이다.
특징적인 구성으로는 상, 하부유리기판을 각각 구비하여 상부 유리기판의 하부에 형광체를 도포하여 형광체의 발광에 의해 영상신호를 표시하는 평판표시소자에 있어서, 전자를 방출시키기 위한 라인 음극과, 상기 라인 음극에서 방출된 전자를 각각의 발광화소로 가속이동시키기 위한 상 하층의 라인전극과, 전자의 좌우이동을 방지하기 위해 상기 두 라인전극과 수직한 방향으로 설치하는 스페이서로 구성함에 있다.

Claims (1)

  1. 상, 하부유리기판(2)(5)을 각각 구비하여 상부유리기판(6)의 하부에 형광체(4)를 도포하여 형광체의 발광에 의해 영상신호를 표시하는 평판표시소자에 있어서, 상기 하부유리기판(3)의 가장자리에서 전자를 방출시키기 위한 라인 음극(1)과, 상기 라인음극에서 방출된 전자를 상 하부유리기판의 소정위치의 발광화소로 가속 이동시키기 위해 상부유리기판(6)과 하부유리기판(3)에 각각 서로 평행하게 형성한 상층라인전극(5) 및 하층 라인전극(2)과, 상기 두 라인전극을 따라 전자가 가속이동할 때 전자의 좌우이동을 방지하기 위해 상기 두라인 전극(2)(5)과 수직한 방향으로 설치하는 스페이서(7)로 구성하는 것을 특징으로 하는 평판 표시소자.
