Abstract

본 발명은 광 픽업을 개시한다.
본 발명은, 광 디스크를 중심으로 하여 각각 P편광 또는 S편광을 발생시키며 서로 대면하도록 직각 방향으로 배열 설치된 제1,2편광레이저; 제1,2편광레이저의 광경로상에 위치되며, 제l,2편광레이저로부터 주사된 편광을 전반사 시키는 편광 프리즘; 광 디스크와 대향되는 편광 프리즘의 일측면에 마련되어 주사되어진 편광을 다른 편광으로 변환시키는 변환판; 편광 프리즘과 광 디스크 사이에 위치되며 제1,2편광 레이저로부터 주사되어진 편광을 광 디스크에 집속시키는 집속수단을 포함하여 된 것으로서, P, S편광을 발생시키는 편광 레이저와 변환판 그리고 편광 프리즘을 통해 한쪽면에 복수의 기록층을 가지는 광 디스크에 기록/재생을 용이하게 행할 수 있으며, 특히 광 손실이 거의 발생되지 않음으로써 광효율의 향상을 동시에 꾀할수 있는 이점이 있다.

Claims (2)

  1. 광 디스크를 중심으로 하여 각각 P편광 또는 S편광을 발생시키며 서로 대면하도록 직각 방향으로 배열 설치된 제1,2편광 레이저; 상기 제1,2편광 레이저의 광 경로상에 위치되며, 제1,2편광 레이저로부터 주사된 편광을 전반사 시키는 편광 프리즘; 상기 광 디스크와 대향되는 편광 프리즘의 일측면에 마련되어 주사되어진 편광을 다른 편광으로 변환시키는 변환판; 상기 편광 프리즘과 광 디스크 사이에 위치되며 제1,2편광레이저로 주사되어진 편광을 광 디스크에 집속시키는 집속수단을 포함하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
  2. 제1항에 있어서, 상기 편광 프리즘과 제1,2편광 레이저 사이에 콜리베이터렌즈를 더 마련하여 된 것을 특징으로 하는 광 픽업.
