Abstract
솔레노이드 밸브의 선택된 조작 변수를 측정 및 감시하기 위한 진단 시스템이 개시된다. 밸브 몸체 및 밸브 봉에 부착된 밸브 플러그로 이루어진 밸브 조립체가 솔레노이드에 의해 조작된다. 밸브 조립체는 밸브 조립체에 부착되거나 근접 위치된 하나 이상의 센서를 구비하여, 밸브 조립체의 선택된 조작 변수를 측정 및 감시하고, 아울러 전기 신호 출력 신호를 나타내는데 사용되는 신호 정, 처리 및 데이타 수집수단에 대한 측정 결과를 나타내는 전기 출력 신호를 제공한다. 진단 시스템은, 밸브의 사용자가 밸브가 사용중 조작할 때 밸브의 각종 전기적 및 기계적 활성도를 측정할 수 있게 함과 아울러, 밸브가 그것의 설계 변수내에서 조작되는지를 볼 수 있게 한다. 또한, 밸브 진단 시스템은 밸브의 사용자에서 사용중 시간에 대한 밸브의 상태를 감시하기 위한 수단을 제공하여, 밸브 및 그 부품에 열화 또는 문제가 발생했는지를 검출하고, 밸브의 고장이 발생하기 전에 그들을 수리할 수 있게 한다.

Claims (8)
- 솔레노이드 밸브의 선택된 조작 별수를 측정 및 감시하기 위한 진단 시스템에 있어서, (A) 밸브 몸체, 전자 코일(electromagnetic coil)을 갖는 솔레노이드에 의해 작동되는 밸브 봉에 부착된 밸브 플러그, 및 가동 코어를 갖는 밸브 조립체와; (B) 상기 밸브 조립체에 인접해서 그것에 부착되며, 상기 밸브 조립체의 하나 이상의 선택된 조작 변수를 측정 및 감시하고 그러한 측정 결과를 나타내는 전기 출력 신호를 제공하는데 적합한 하나 이상의 센서 수단과; (C) 전기 출력 신호를 수용하고 기록할 수 있는 신호 조정, 처리 및 데이타 수집 수단을 포함하는 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 센서중 하나는 밸브 조립체의 진동을 측정하기에 적합한 음향 변환기인 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 솔레노이드 코일을 활성화시키는데 이용되는 전류의 양을 측정하기에 적합한 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 센서중 하나는 밸브 조립체의 조작중 솔레노이드 코일의 EMF반응을 측정하기에 적합한 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 센서중 하나는 솔레노이드를 활성화시키는데 사용되는 제어 스위치내의 전류를 측정하기에 적합한 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 센서중 하나는 밸브 조립체의 선택된 부분내에서 와전류를 측정하기에 적합한 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 센서중 하나는 밸브 플러그의 이동을 측정하기에 적합한 초음파 센서인 진단 시스템.
- 제1항에 있어서, 상기 데이타 수집수단에 의해 기록된 상기 전기 출력 신호는 컴퓨터에 의하여 밸브의 상태를 진단하도록 처리되는 진단 시스템.※ 참고사항 : 최초출원 내용에 의하여 공개하는 것임.
